Advice & FAQ
Here you can find our articles on battery care and maintenance, including best practices and, above all, what to avoid.
A. How to properly charge a battery
Charge between 20% and 80% to maximise lifespan.
Avoid prolonged charging at 100%.
Never allow a battery to fully discharge.
Use only a compatible charger.
B. How to store a battery
Ideal storage charge level: 40–60%.
Recommended temperature: 10–20°C.
Do not leave the battery in direct sunlight, in a car, or in a humid environment.
C. How to extend battery lifespan
Avoid full charge and discharge cycles.
Prefer shorter, more frequent charging sessions.
Do not use a charger more powerful than required.

Battery not charging
Check the charger.
Try a different power outlet.
Clean the contacts.
Let the battery “wake up” for a few minutes if it was exposed to very cold or very hot temperatures.
Battery discharging too quickly
Check the wear level (cycle count, if available).
Extreme temperatures result in reduced performance.

❓ General FAQ
1. What is the lifespan of a battery?
Generally, it ranges from 500 to 1,000 charge cycles, depending on the chemistry (Li-ion / LiFePO₄). This corresponds to several years of use.
2. How long does it take to charge a battery?
Use the calculator below by entering the information you have available.
Please note that your battery will never be completely discharged.
3. How can I tell if my battery is compatible with my device?
Check the following:
Voltage (V)
Capacity (mAh / Wh)
Connector
Original reference
4. Can a more powerful charger be used?
No, this can damage the battery. Always use a charger with the same voltage and the recommended current (amperage).
5. Est-ce dangereux de laisser une batterie branchée toute la nuit ?
Les batteries modernes ont des protections, mais charger toute la nuit accélère l’usure. Débrancher après la charge reste recommandé.
6. Warranty: what is covered?
Covered:
Manufacturing defects
Cell-related issues
Internal malfunctions
Not covered:
Impacts, water ingress, improper use, non-compatible chargers
Parts that were not replaced during the reconditioning process
7. What should I do with an old battery?
Old batteries must always be recycled through an official collection point.
